The Ashok Leyland U-2518 / U-2523 TIPPER is a heavy-duty 6×4 tipper built for quarrying, construction, excavation and other demanding off-road applications. With up to 18-tonne payload capacity and a 12 m³ bucket, it is suitable for transporting large quantities of stone, ballast, sand and other heavy materials.
The U-2518 is powered by a 5,759 cc six-cylinder intercooled turbo diesel engine producing 180 hp, while the U-2523 produces 225 hp. Both models use a 9-speed ZF gearbox with crawler gear, bogie rear suspension and mine-lug tyres for difficult working conditions and steep gradients.
The U-2518 / U-2523 TIPPER is suited to quarry operations where trucks regularly carry stone, ballast and other heavy materials over rough ground. Its 6×4 drive, bogie suspension and mine-lug tyres provide the capability needed for demanding quarry routes.
